Ningbo Diqiang Lighting has entered a joint R&D agreement with Munich-based IoT Solutions AG to create smart streetlights with real-time energy monitoring. The collaboration leverages Diqiang’s 5-year expertise in outdoor lighting and the German partner’s cloud-based control systems.

Prototypes displayed at Light + Building 2024 in Frankfurt received acclaim for modular design and 15-year lifespan. Mass production is slated for Q1 2025, targeting smart city projects in Europe and Southeast Asia.
